Jonas is a PhD student at the Clinic for Swine, Department of Clinical Veterinary Science, Vetsuisse Faculty under the supervision of Prof. Dr. med. Vet. Heiko Nathues. His PhD research was conducted as part of the MCID-funded project "An integrative One Health network to monitor and characterize influenza A viruses circulating in the human and pig population".
