Isabel is a PhD student in the Department of Immunology at the Institute of Virology and Immunology under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Marco Alves. Her PhD research was conducted as part of the MCID-funded project "Confronting the rising epidemic of the zoonotic tick-borne encephalitis virus".
