The MCID Annual Event 2026 will take place on Friday 27th November from 09.30 to 17.00. The event is open to all at the University of Bern and associated institutes. We look forward to welcoming researchers from all disciplines to this multidisciplinary event. The event will feature keynote talks on a range of different infectious disease-linked topics, as well as an interactive poster session and networking possibilities.

Abstract submission for poster presentation
We invite submission of poster abstracts on all topics with a link to infectious diseases. Abstracts can be submitted when registering for the event or at a later timepoint (deadline October 20th). Submitted abstracts should be of a maximum of 250 words, with names and affiliations of those to appear in the abstract to be provided upon submission.
