Congratulations Dr. Martin Wohlfender

The MCID is delighted to congratulate Martin on the successful defence of his PhD, titled “Innovative approaches to integrate new data sources for epidemic surveillance”. Martin completed his doctoral studies at the Institute for Social and Preventive Medicine under the supervision of Dr. Julien Riou and PD Dr. Christian Althaus. His PhD research was conducted as part of the MCID-funded project "Early detection for early action: integrating multiple data sources for monitoring the SARS-CoV-2 epidemic in near real-time".
