On 7th and 8th June 2023, the MCID Ethics and Policy Lab together with the Oeschger Center for Climate Change Research (OCCR) will host a boot camp on politics run by the Franxini Project. This boot camp, to be held in German, will be open to ten MCID and ten OCCR participants and will cover the following:
- how to create a constructive exchange with representatives of the Swiss political system
- how to find the right addressees in parliaments and public administration
- how to effectively engage in political work
- how to put your own scientific statements into the right context in public
- how to protect yourself from instrumentalization
